Be Well Asheville

“In a city known for its hiking culture, independent wellness spaces and post-flood community resilience, a new studio opening in Asheville’s River Arts District is making a case for what movement practice can look like when strength training and yoga stop competing and start working together.

Blue Ghost Strength + Yoga, opening at 146 Roberts Street this April 4th, is built around a simple but increasingly relevant premise: your fitness routine should support the life you actually want to live outside the studio..”

Blue Ghost Strength + Yoga is a studio based in the River Arts District offering a wide array of unique yoga and strength-based classes. Our mission is to support your life outside of the studio. Our fitness program doesn’t stick to a dogma – we’re using kettlebells to increase strength and bone density, we’re practicing yoga and other movement patterns to challenge your mobility and balance, and practicing mindful breath and focus through it all. $10 off a membership or 10 class pack with your Go Local Card!

Blue Ghost Strength and Yoga booked my Brand Foundations package to establish the visual identity for their new business. They wanted to set themselves apart in the Asheville fitness industry to convey their unique blend of both yoga and strength classes.

The strategy behind their brand was entirely influenced by their mission to give people a solid foundation of strength to show up for the adventures of daily life with more ease, presence, and longevity.

Client Reviews

“I’ve tried yoga at other studios in Asheville over the years and always felt a little out of place, but Blue Ghost feels completely different — welcoming, approachable, and genuinely focused on meeting you where you are. The mix of strength, heat, and yoga feels really unique, and all of the instructors have been fantastic.

I’m about five classes in now and officially hooked!

Also, the space is beautiful, clean, and such a great addition to the River Arts District. Asheville has a ton of yoga studios, but Blue Ghost truly feels like it has found its own lane.”

“I had the best experience in this yoga class. Bria created such a welcoming, calming environment while still giving a really effective workout. I left feeling stronger, more relaxed, and honestly just in a better mood. Can’t wait for the next class!”

— Caitlyn, Happy Yogi

“I took a Strength + Yoga class with Sara and loved it! The studio is clean and welcoming to all. The class felt accessible, but with the kettlebells, you could go as heavy as you wanted. I love the combination of yoga and strength and am excited to have Blue Ghost in the RAD Neighborhood!

Parking was very easy, the deck gives you an hour for free and the studio will validate your parking for an extra 30 min, so there’s no need to fuss with finding street parking.”
